M/WBE Certification Assistance
Asian Women In Business has been designated by the New York City Council to be a part of its M/WBE Leadership Association Program. AWIB serves as community partner for the City's Department of Small Business Services (SBS) for its outreach to the M/WBE constituency. AWIB offers technical assistance, workshops, networking opportunities, outreach and more for business owners as M/WBEs.

Asian Women In Business Leadership Awards Dinner: Thirteenth Anniversary Gala
AWIB will honor outstanding Asian women business owners and corporate executives for their success and leadership in the business world and serving as champions of the community. The event also marks AWIB's thirteenth anniversary and serves as our main fundraiser for 2009 programs and services. Join us at this unique event which will be attended by corporate and community leaders and entrepreneurs.

The AWIB Corporate Initiative
AWIB launched a Corporate Initiative in 2005 in response to the expressed needs of corporate Asian women. Hundreds of Asian women have thronged our leadership forums to learn, ask questions and network. Featured speakers represent the top minds from across corporate America making it a quality experience for participants. The 2008 Conference, themed 'Born to Lead: Corporate Asian Women Making a Difference' was held June 17th at Goldman Sachs in Manhattan. Learn more about the Initiative.
The AWIB Scholarship Fund
The Asian Women In Business Scholarship encourages and promotes exceptional Asian female students who have demonstrated a committment to scholarship, leadership, community service and/or entrepreneurship. AWIB will begin awarding Scholarships in January 2009 to students who have the attributes to be our next generation of leaders. More.
