Reinventing Yourself at Any Age

(New York, NY) July 24, 2014 – Asian Women in Business (AWIB) is hosting an event titled Reinventing Yourself at Any Age, featuring a group of ordinary women who made extraordinary decisions to transform their careers. The interactive discussion will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Office of the Manhattan Borough President, 1 Centre Street, 19th Foor, South, New York, NY.

Major life changes are never easy, but taking the steps to follow your passions can be very rewarding. Reinventing Yourself at Any Age will hear from a group of ordinary women (like you and me) who have refused to be stuck in a place or career. The evening’s programming includes a lawyer who became a handbag designer, an apparel industry executive who created a career around the needs of her child, a laid-off manager who turned a family recipe into a must-have snack, a graphic designer who now sells premium cashews, and a lawyer-turned-media professional.

A networking reception will follow the discussion.

An RSVP is required by Tuesday, August 19, and can be made by going to www.awib.org/events.
