Holiday Trunk Show hosted by
Asian Women In Business

New York, NY (November 21, 2013) – Asian Women In Business (AWIB) is proud to host its first-ever Holiday Trunk Show!  It will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 12 West 18th Street, Apt 3E (between 5th and 6th Avenue) in New York City.

Save time and money this holiday season by getting your holiday shopping done all in one place!  And this isn’t your typical garage sale selling Grandma’s trinkets or hand-me-downs.  We’ll have a wide selection of beautiful handbags (including designer brands such as Burberry, Tory Burch, and LeSportsac), glittering accessories (designed by Tam Tran, Amrita Singh, Alex and Ani, Chan Luu, and other notable jewelry designers), gift certificates (including dining certificates for Nobu, Les Halles, Tribeca Grill, and Sprinkles), and much more for shoppers to choose from!  Plus, we’ll also be selling items that have been generously donated by some of our members to help support our non-profit programs.

And best of all, everything is brand-new and will be sold at great prices

Excited yet?  Wait—it gets even better!  Tam Tran, founder of Lost Wax Studio, will be conducting jewelry-making demonstrations throughout the evening.  Her biannual jewelry-making workshops at the Metropolitan Museum of Art are extremely popular, but this will be your chance to catch a glimpse of what she does up-close (and for free)!

This event is open to everyone and will be a wonderful occasion for smart shoppers to find the perfect holiday gifts.  So don’t miss this chance to do some holiday shopping in a warm and welcoming environment while meeting and networking with people from diverse professional backgrounds!

Oh yeah, and did we mention?  The event is free to attend! But RSVPs are required, so make sure you register in advance by going online to www.awib.org/events or by calling 212.868.1368.  And you can bring guests as long as you give us their names.

All proceeds from purchases during the event will benefit Asian Women In Business’s programs, which aim to promote and support Asian women professionals and entrepreneurs.
