Do It Yourself:
How to Use Public Relations to Promote Your Business in Extraordinary Ways
New York, NY (March 11, 2011) – Whether you’re launching a new product or seeking to enhance your profile, effective public relations is essential. This month, Asian Women In Business (AWIB) will be hosting an interactive workshop entitled “Do It Yourself: How to Use Public Relations to Promote Your Business in Extraordinary Ways.” The workshop will take place on April 14, 2011, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Weil, Gotschal & Manges LLP, 767 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
In today’s difficult economy it is more crucial than ever to develop a smart, thorough, and savvy approach to successfully promote your business or personal profile. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create, build and sustain the right “BUZZ” for their business by utilizing low-cost and innovative techniques. Leading media experts Julie Huang (President, Kaimen Company) and Hanna Lee (President, Hanna Lee Communications) will work with participants to address key topics such as: which public relations tools make the most sense for your specific goals; the availability of diverse platforms for increasing visibility; networking, outreach and community involvement; and creative ways of building and maintaining customer relations. Drawing on years of experience, these experts will help entrepreneurs and professionals develop the necessary knowledge, tools and confidence for generating positive public relations.
Light refreshments are included. To reserve a seat, participants must RSVP by April 11, 2011. The fee is $20 for AWIB members and $45 for non-members. For more information, please visit our event registration page at:
